Witnesses sought after man dies in M6 motorway crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fatal crash on the M6 near Warrington yesterday.

The crash was at 3.58pm between junction 20 and junction 19 Lymm interchange and involved a red Mazda car that collided with a bridge.
The driver, a man, died at the scene and a woman passenger was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident resulted in the motrway being closed while the air ambulance attended at the scene.



Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage of the vehicle before the incident to come forward.
