CAMPAIGNING council candidate Pete Pinnington has condemned anti-social behaviour involving an arson attack on a play area at Whittle Hall.

The Prospective Councillor for Whittle Hall is seeking quick action to tackle the anti-social behaviour that took place in the Whittle Hall area earlier this week.

On Monday evening, as the nation was lifting lockdown restrictions, vandals were setting fire to the children’s play area on Whittle Hall Park, damaging property and littering the area with rubbish.
The former voice of Warrington on Wire FM Pete Pinnington has moved quickly to tackle the disorder.
Pete said: “We’ve had bins kicked into the road, sale signs damaged & now setting fire on the kids play area at Whittle Hall Park this kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable.”
“I have spoken to a number of residents about the issues and on Monday evening I was able to speak to our MP Andy Carter. Andy was clearly as concerned as I am about what was happening and will be speaking to the Police and the Council.”
Pete will also be speaking about the issues to the former Assistant Chief Constable of Cheshire Police John Dwyer who is the prospective Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire.
