Arsonists target children’s play area at Great Sankey

POLICE are appealing for information after arsonists targeted a children’s play area at Great Sankey, Warrington, last night.

At 9.07pm firefighters were informed of an outside fire in the Wensleydale Close area of Great Sankey, Warrington.
On arrival the crew discovered that it was a fire involving a wheelie bin at a children’s play park.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for less than 20 minutes.



The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
