Four more COVID-19 related deaths and 35 new cases as slight downward trend continues

FOUR more COVID-19 related patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital since Friday, while 35 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington since yesterday, continuing a slight downward trend.

The 35 (24) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,208 (17,173).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 148 (150) – 70.5 (71.4) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period. This compares to the national rate of 65.1 (69) per 100,000.
