Six more COVID-19 deaths at Warrington Hospital and 43 new cases confirmed

SIX more COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since Friday, while 43 new cases have been confirmed in the town since yesterday, continuing a downward trend.

The 43 (35) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 16,544 (16,501).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 422 (450) – 200.9 (214.3) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period. This compares to the national rate of 149.7 (158.7) per 100,000.
