WHILE new COVID-19 cases are continuing to fall in most areas of Warrington, six COVID-19 hot spots have shown increased numbers, while Appleton has recorded the lowest number with just one.
All areas where there have been increases are single-digit increases as the overall number of new cases fell from 701 to 506 over a seven-day period.
Public Health England has revealed the new data in their usual small area case numbers which shows the number of cases in each area of Warrington during the week ending 6th February.
The numbers in Parentheses are the numbers of cases at the end of the previous week ending 30th January.
This week the number of cases in Appleton is suppressed by PHE because it is less than three cases. However, since only one area is suppressed by comparing the town with the small area numbers show just one case in Appleton and the historic data shows the value for the previous week so these are shown in the table.
