Another five COVID-19 related deaths at Warrington Hospital and 53 new cases

ANOTHER five COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday while 53 new cases have been confirmed in the town, continuing a downward trend.

Hospital inpatient numbers are also still continuing to show a downward trend with 11 patients discharged since yesterday.
The 53 (57) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 16,403 (16,350).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 492 (506) – 234.3 (240.9) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period.
