A new COVID-19 vaccination centre has opened at the Village Hotel in Warrington as part of mass vaccination roll-out programme by Pharmacy2U.

Pharmacy2U, the UK’s largest online pharmacy, is partnering with the Warrington Village Hotel and others to open vital Covid-19 vaccine centres to further support and protect the most vulnerable people across the country.
Vaccinations started yesterday (Wednesday) following the launch of other Covid-19 vaccinations centres across the country by Pharmacy2U now totalling twelve sites.
Other Pharmacy2U locations include an Odeon cinema in Aylesbury, Newmarket and Aintree racecourses, Morrisons supermarkets in Yeovil and Winsford and Village Hotels in Leeds and Liverpool.
When it’s your turn, you’ll be contacted by the NHS via letter, text or email with information on how to book your appointment.
All vaccinations will be administered by a qualified healthcare professional, and patients will be required to return for the follow-up jab.
Phil Day, Superintendent Pharmacist at Pharmacy2U, said: “This is a vitally important service for people across the country, ensuring the most vulnerable in our communities get this vaccination and protect themselves against COVID-19. The NHS has been working above and beyond expectation for almost a year. We’ve been working hard to make sure we can offer these sites and to continue the incredible achievements of the NHS.”
Mark Livingstone, CEO of Pharmacy2U, said: “We are incredibly proud at Pharmacy2U to help play our part in protecting the most vulnerable people against COVID-19. The launch of our sites marks a huge step in increasing the number of people that will have access to the vaccine and we feel privileged to be able to do so. Our vaccination centres and fully trained first aiders will be supporting pharmacists to give patients these vital vaccinations, providing an essential service to help prevent the spread of this terrible virus. We’re working closely with the national and regional NHS teams to deliver further vaccination sites for patients in areas that need them most.”
Pharmacy2U has partnered with a number of organisations including The Jockey Club, Odeon Cinemas, Morrisons and Village Hotels to roll out sites across England. Pharmacy2U has already been administering flu vaccinations as part of the NHS programme and since lockdown was first enforced it has also helped patients avoid over four million trips outdoors by safely delivering over eleven million medicines directly to their door.

  1. I feel really anxious about the vaccine, i had a reation to the tamiflu yrs back and it paralysed me from the neck down for 10days. I have health issues and possibly in need of an operation in the future, however im still unsure

  2. Thanks for providing these places for vaccinations. However,I went for my first dose on Saturday afternoon 29th May. I didn’t have a good experience for my vaccine, the environment was scary people wasn’t very nice. They are very young without supervisor. The guy has done the injection very very bad without any respect.I was talking about my situation and I didn’t even finish my sentence. He seems shooting a dart toward dart board. The room was smelly as well.
Please train them respect people. This situation and virus is scary enough, just be nice please.

    Thanks
