New COVID-19 cases reduce in most areas of Warrington but a few hot spots remain

NEW cases of COVID-19 have reduced in most areas of Warrington although a few hot spots remain in the latest data from Public Health England.

Only Culcheth West & Croft with 53, Winwick & Burtonwood with 70 and Houghton green & Fearnhead with 40, have failed to see reductions, while Orford has remained the same as the previous week at 44.
While the total number for a seven day period has fallen from 1,183 to 950, the decrease is smaller than the previous seven days when it fell from 1,566 to 1,183.
The Public Health England data published today, shows case numbers for small areas in Warrington.
The figures are for the number of cases in each area in the seven days ended 23rd January with the numbers of cases during the previous week (ending 16th January) shown in parentheses.
