New COVID-19 cases continue downward trend for fourth consecutive day since lockdown


THE number of new COVID-19 cases in Warrington is continuing a downward trend for the fourth consecutive day since the start of the latest lockdown.

A total of 120 (137) new COVID-19 cases were reported by Public Health England today, Sunday, taking the total reported in Warrington, since the start of the pandemic, to 13,913 (13,793).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 1,410 (1,460) – 671.4 (695.2) per 100,000 population – showing a downward trend for a fourth consecutive day and the fifth time since the start of lockdown.
