Police issue four fines for breach of COVID-19 rules at Appleton

POLICE at Appleton, Warrington, issued four fines for breach of COVID-19 regulations in the area around Fox Covert Cemetery last night, Saturday.

A local patrol issued 4 Fixed Penalty Notices at about 10pm on Saturday night, for breach of COVID-19 Regulations in the area of Red Lane and Fox Covert Cemetery.
One driver and their passenger, not from same household, had travelled from Didsbury, Manchester to “see the view”.
A police spokesperson said: “Now more than ever we need everyone to stick to the rules so that we can protect the NHS and save lives.”
