LiveWire, the not-for-profit Community Interest Company that manages leisure services on behalf of Warrington Borough Council, says its new virtual fitness offer will help keep people moving and motivated this New Year.
LiveWire@Home has been launched by LiveWire to help customers who have work out at home while its leisure sites are closed during lockdown.
And anyone who signs up now will have free access to the service until February.
It is also ideal for those who don’t yet feel comfortable returning to the gym, or who are unable to due to health reasons.
All LiveWire Select members with active memberships have been granted free access to LiveWire@Home until 31st March 2021.
And anyone else is able to access LiveWire@Home as a standalone offer and enjoy FREE access until February – after which the price is £5.99 a month, no commitment.
LiveWire@Home – accessed via the LiveWire app – features a range of classes from regular LiveWire instructors, which can be enjoyed live or on demand. Classes include Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Indoor Cycle, Legs Bums and Tums, HIIT as well as Les Mills options including BodyPump and GRIT. Lifestyles low impact classes also feature.
Kev Forester, LiveWire’s Commercial Director, said: “Whilst our facilities may be closed we’re still committed to supporting people to stay active at home. We understand how easy it can be to quickly fall out of good habits when it comes to an exercise routine, and so having this virtual access to the LiveWire instructor team who our members know and love, has really helped our members.
“We have also been pleased to see a number of new members take up this offer, seeing this as an ideal way to get started on their fitness journey in the comfort of their own home.”
Warrington Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for leisure and community, Cllr Tony Higgins, said: “The LiveWire@Home initiative is a fantastic way to stay connected to leisure services. It gives everybody the opportunity to stay fit and active while our leisure centres are closed.
“By signing up for a membership, you can take positive steps towards improving your physical and mental wellbeing from home, while providing vital support for our leisure services during these challenging times.”
