TWO fire engines from Warrington and Lymm were called to a kitchen fire at a house in Greenfields Avenue, Appleton last night.
The fire turned out to involve a fluorescent light fitting and was believed to have been caused by water seeping through from the bathroom above and entering the light fitting.
Firefighters isolated the electricity supply to the fitting and made sure the property was safe. They were at the scene for around 15 minutes.
