WARRINGTON-based Keeling Catering Engineers has stepped in to help a local charity struggling because of the Covid-19 restrictions.

When Shannon’s Community Centre, at Penketh found it needed its oven servicing, the company agreed to do it free of charge.
They also replaced new parts that were needed – again free of charge.
Patti Bradshaw, manager at the centre, said: “I did ask if they were willing to provide a discount, due to difficult times but I didn’t expect an offer to do it for free – we were absolutely over the moon.
“They even fixed our industrial toaster – we can’t thank them enough.
“They went above and beyond to show us support during these very difficult times.”
Shannon’s community Centre is open every Friday to serve takeaways during the coronavirus lockdown.
A spokesperson for Keeling Catering said: “We are pleased to make a difference, and are here to help local charities and not-for-profit organisations through these difficult and challenging times.
“Our Service Department is open to support and offer technical advice, keeping any disruption to a minimum.”
