Central Warrington tops town’s latest COVID-19 hotspots

WITH Warrington set to enter a “very high” Tier 3 local lockdown new data from Public Health England shows central Warrington as having the highest number of new COVID-19 cases.

The Public Health England Data for local areas in Warrington for the seven days ending Sunday 18th October was published earlier today Thursday.
It reveals Central Warrington to have had the highest number of new cases at 52, followed by Kingswood and Whittle Hall at 43.
As reported earlier today Warrington Borough Council is involved in ongoing discussions with Government about being placed in “Very high” risk Tier 3, due to the high rates of infection in the town.
