Two more COVID-19 related deaths confirmed at Warrington Hospital

TWO more COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been confirmed in the latest figures available from Warrington Hospital published today, Monday.

Meanwhile, a total of 34 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Warrington in the latest daily figures from Public Health England.
The latest figures, which are down from 40 yesterday and 73 reported on Saturday, come as new coronavirus cases recorded in the UK have fallen for the third day in a row, although new special measures have been introduced in the North East where there continues to be a sharp rise in cases. Households mixing in any setting is now illegal in the North East.
The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since March is now 2,335 (2,301) 1,111.8 (1,095.6) per 100,000 population. The seven day average as of Sept 21 was 54 (50.6).
The latest available figures from Warrington Hospital released today Monday, Sept 28.

Covid-19 positive inpatients 25 (27) – Of which 7 (5) are in ICU
Total number of tests (inpatients/community) cumulative – 23,800 (23,221)
Total tests with a positive result (inpatients/community/died/discharged) cumulative 1,377 (1,355 )
Discharges of positive patients (excluding deaths) cumulative 431 (427)
Deaths of Covid-19 positive inpatients cumulative 143 (141)
There have been 160 COVID-related deaths reported in Warrington.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 13 (17), taking the total number of deaths to 42,002 (41,988) –
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 4,044 (5,693), taking the total number to 434,969 (429,277).
Across the country, there are 1,727 (1,727) patients currently in hospital and 262 (262) patients in ventilator beds.
