Arsonists target Padgate play area for second consecutive night

ARSONISTS have targeted a play area at Padgate, Warrington for a second consecutive night.

One fire engine attended from Warrington after firefighters were called following reports of a fire in a play park off Lysander Drive at around 10pm last night (Sunday).
On arrival the crew found some equipment well alight. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames. A similar incident occurred the previous night at a similar time.

In another incident ne fire engine attended from Warrington following reports of a fire in the open off Manchester Road. On arrival the crew found a metal rubbish bin well alight.
A water backpack was used to extinguish the flames.
