Suspected arson attack on children’s play area at Padgate

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night following a suspected arson attack on a children’s play area at Padgate, Warrington.

Shortly after 10pm one fire crew from Warrington was called to reports of a fire in a play area in the Lysander Drive area of Padgate.
The crew extinguished the fire involving children’s play equipment with a hose reel jet. Firefighters were in attendance for more than half-an-hour.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
