Council move quickly to empty eyesore recycling skip

WARRINGTON Borough Council has moved quickly to empty an over flowing recycling skip at Lymm.

Within a matter of hours of the issue being flagged on Warrington Worldwide the skip on the Davies Way Car Park was cleared after being an eyesore for many months.
Local Cllr Kath Buckley, who raised the issue along with Lymm Parish Council said: “I am pleased to say that the bins are now emptied and that Warrington Borough Council have assured me that they will monitor the situation.
“Can l also make a plea to people not to leave rubbish when the bins are clearly full!”
Local resident Mrs Margaret Hilton had flagged the issue as a health hazard and said it had been an ongoing issue since January.

Village recycling skip is a “disgrace”
