SPECIAL workshops are taking place to help manufacuring businesses across Warrington Cheshire embrance new technology.
Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub, part of the Cheshire and Warrington LEP, are staging three events to help local businesses prepare for Industry 4.0, with manufacturing businesses invited to attend.
Working with manufacturing support programmes Made Smarter and the Manufacturing Growth Fund, the Growth Hub events being held in September and October will bring together a panel of expert advisors and will enable manufacturers to start their journey of embracing new technology and innovation, to ensure they can stay competitive and increase manufacturing efficiency.
The events which take place in Crewe, Chester and Warrington are designed to help manufacturers at all different stages of embracing new technology and industry 4.0 technology. The events provide manufacturers with an opportunity to network with other manufacturers and hear from other businesses who have already benefitted from the programmes, as well as discover the full range of support and grant funding available to manufacturers. Businesses who have already benefitted from the programmes include CADScan, Plastic Card Services, STM Power Transmissions and J.S. Bailey who received a grant of over £4,000.

The events are also a great opportunity to develop the manufacturing supply chain locally by bringing manufacturers from all sectors together. “
The events are taking place on 25th September in Warrington, 1st October in Crewe and 9th October in Chester.
