Tennis club appoints new head coach

LYMM Lawn Tennis Club has appointed a new head coach – Allan Morton, who has moved from Alderley Edge Tennis Club where he was assistant head of coaching.
Allan is an LTA qualified tennis coach, nearing completion of the LTA Level Five Master Club Coach Award.
He is also the Cheshire U11 Boys County Captain.
Allan has 16 years coaching experience, holding varying positions in tennis from senior professional at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in Fulham, head coach at David Lloyd Beckenham and director of tennis for Tennis England.
He has vast experience working with players of all levels and abilities, and has specifically developed his club tennis skill set.
The club has just launched a new tennis coaching programme, offering more than 45 new classes weekly for club members and the local community to enjoy playing tennis all year round.
The sessions vary from schools, mini, junior, adult beginner to advanced and team and cardio tennis.
The club has nine all weather courts, four grass courts, seven floodlit tennis courts and a croquet lawn.
New members are always welcome and non-members can also join the new programme.
