LYMM-based duo Iain Rothwell and Seach Dog Isla have passed their upgrade assessment to qualify as a fully graded National Search and Rescue Association Search Dog Team.
Iain and Isla volunteer with the Cheshire Search and Rescue Team who are called upon by Cheshire Police and other emergency services to search for missing vulnerable people.
The tough assessments where carried out on Cannock Chase in Staffordshire with assessors from SARDA Wales and NSARDA Staffordshire overseeing the proceedings.
This assessment follows on from their Novice qualification last year and with the fully graded status gives them the highest standard and qualification possible in the country for Lowland Search and Rescue Dogs.
