AMBITIOUS Warrington soccer club Greenalls PSO is offering local businesses the chance to sponsor their 1st and reserve teams for just £25.
Instead of seeking a sponsor prepared to fork out more than £1,000 for kit, they are running a raffle with tickets costing £25.
The winner will get their name on the front of each Greenalls shirt – which means it will be on show all over the North West on match days.
Greenalls PSO (Padgate St Oswalds) play in the Cheshire Premier League and are the current President’s Cup holders.
A club spokesman said: “Greenalls PSO have gone from strength to strength since being taken over in the middle of last season by new young managers Chris Brown and Andy Dawson. They ended last season winning the President’s Cup trophy.
“Pre season training has begun and we are looking forward to going into next season with a new kit and new positive drive ready to chase down that top spot.”
The club has always found sponsorship a big ask for small businesses, but following the success of an earlier sponsored tracksuit raffle decided to run a raffle for kit sponsorship.
