YOUNG full-back Josh Thewlis could make his Warrington debut this weekend against Catalans.

Thewlis, 17, has been drafted in for the suspended Jake Mamo, and with regular full-back Stefan Ratchford out injured long-term, it is an opportunity for the academy player to step up.

He has been training with the first team since pre-season and has now been handed the squad number 31.

Another option for Steve Price is Jack Johnson, who has also been brought in to the 19-man squad in place of Tom Lineham, also missing through suspension.

Those are the only two changes for the game against Catalans, which takes place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3.15pm kick-off).

Warrington 19-man squad: Akauola, Austin, Charnley, D Clark, J Clark, Cooper, Currie, Davis, Goodwin, Hill, Hughes, Johnson, King, Livett, Murdoch-Masila, Patton, Philbin, Thewlis, Walker.
