Engineering consultancy expands Daresbury base

PROCESS engineering consultancy BPE has appointed a new principal process engineer as its Daresbury, near Warrington, office continues to expand.
Karmele Sagarzazu has joined the firm and will advise and lead on projects for its growing raft of clients.
Karmele has a proven track record in projects within the chemical and life sciences industries and is an associate member of IChemE, which BPE works with closely.
She kicked off her career in process engineering with a degree in chemical engineering from Metropolitan University Caracas in Venezuela. She also holds a Masters in Refinery Design and Operation from the University of Manchester.
Throughout her career she has led on complex projects for the likes of Yorkshire Water, Morgan Sindall, AirBP and GSK Alliance. Before joining BPE she held roles with Stopford Energy and Environment and Jacobs.
