A FIRE which broke out in the garden of a Warrington house spread to adjoining gardens and damaged a neighbouring house.
Two firefighters, each using a hose reel jet, tackled the blaze in Vincent Close, Great Sankey shortly before 4.30pm yesterday.
A fire engine from Warrington was sent to the scene and crew members discovered bushes, trees and fences at the back of a house were well alight.
The fire had spread to the garden of the house next door and other surrounding properties.
After the blaze had been extinguished, the team damped down affected area and make sure it was safe.
External damage was caused to one house.
