A NEW site leader has been announced at the Amazon fulfilment centre at Warrington.
Prashant Pandey will oversee operations at the centre, which opened its doors in 2017.
He has worked for Amazon in the UK and the US for three and-a-half years and previously served six years in the Merchant Navy.
Mr Pandey, who has also previously worked in the insurance industry, has moved to Warrington. In his spare time he plays cricket for Barrow, near Chester.
He said: “I’m over the moon to join the team in Warrington.. My main goals are to have a big impact on our community and to have a big impact on my team. I’ve already seen how talented and fun the team at Amazon in Warrington is and I’m excited for all the great things I know we will achieve together.”
Amazon employs more than 1,200 people in Warrington.
