MEMBERS of Thelwall and Grappenhall Model Railway Club are holding an Open Day on Saturday, April 20 which will give visitors the chance to become engine drivers.
A variety of layouts will be on show at Grappenhall Community Centre, Bellhouse Lane, Grappenhall between 1pm and 4pm.
There will be plenty to see, with trains travelling on five different layouts – and visitors will be given the chance to drive them.
For the technically minded, there will be analogue OO gauge, N gauge, 009, digital OO and N gauge Modern Era.
There will also be a tombola stall and refreshments will be available in the Grappenhall Community Centre bar.
