WARRINGTON Wolves are reaching out to the local Polish community with a new marketing campaign.

The club has launched a special poster this week in Polish, promoting the forthcoming Super League home clashes with Hull KR, Castleford and Wigan.

Paul MacLeod, Head of Marketing and Match-Day Sales said: “Data records from Warrington Council plus our own database indicate there is a large Polish community living in and around The Halliwell Jones Stadium, with this is mind we wanted to reach out to them and get the Wolves word out in the community.

“Rugby League is a great way of bringing people together this is just one step we are making to introduce our great game to a wider audience.”

Meanwhile Warrington kick started the season with a resounding 26-6 victory over Leeds Rhinos in front of an impressive crowd of 13,096.
