Choir’s Christmas concert close to a sell out!

CHRISTMAS jumpers and smiles were on view during Warrington Male Voice Choir’s rehearsal, ahead of this year’s Christmas concert which is very nearly a sell out!

The jumpers were worn in support of, and on the eve of, Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day 2018. And the smiles were a reaction to the news that this year’s Christmas Voices Christmas Brass concert, being staged by the choir at Parr Hall this Saturday (22 December), is very close to a sell out, with just over 50 tickets (excluding bench seats) now on sale.

With the concert almost a sell out, the choir are advising those supporters who usually buy their tickets on the door, not to leave it until then, as they could be disappointed.

The remaining tickets, at £10 (£5 under 16), can be bought by ringing 01925 442345, visiting www.pyramidparrhall.com, or in person from the Pyramid/Parr Hall ticket office.

Starting at 7.30pm, as well as featuring Warrington Male Voice Choir, the evening will also feature their great friends Leyland Band, one of the world’s top brass bands, not to mention an audience Christmas carol sing-along. As in previous years, the audience are being encouraged to get in the mood and ‘dress for Christmas’ and this year fundraising on the night will be in aid of Room at the inn – The Y Project Charity.
