Big Band “Thanks for the Memory” concert in aid of Alzheimer’s Society

A “Thanks for the Memory” Big Band concert takes place in Woolston next month (October) helping raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Featuring the Dave Egerton Band and covering 90 years of music the event takes place at Woolston Social Club on Sunday, October 7 from 2.30pm to 5pm with tickets priced just £6.

It wll involve a “superb concert” of big band music songs from the 1920s to the 2000s and will also include the Sixpence Stage School.

People are invited to bring along friends and relatives and sit back and take a trip down memory lane – while helping raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
