Having left Warrington Wolves due to the expiry of his contract in November, Brad Dwyer is now playing for the Super League Champions, claiming he feels much-coveted in the new team.

The 24-year-old hooker admitted he was delighted to join the Leeds Rhinos as he was pretty confident in his success there. He became the fourth player who left the club this season.

“It’s been good so far, very different and I’ve enjoyed it. It’s a massive learning curve for me but I’m enjoying my rugby again”, Brad commented.

According to the sports website, when his career was in the primrose and blue, Brad Dwyer appeared on the field 85 times with only 13 games in the starting squad and 72 games played as a substitute.

“I had been at Warrington for a while and felt I’d not really pushed on to the potential I thought I had. It did make it tough for me early doors and I didn’t get as much game-time as I wanted but I cracked on,” the player noted.

Notably, the first match in which Dwyer emerges as a part of the new team is a clash with his former club Warrington Wolves. He later spread the word that some of his ex-teammates were goofing on him when it became clear who would be their next rival.

“I didn’t realise the fixtures were due to come out but it was a nice surprise when my phone started going mad with people texting me about the fact we were playing Warrington first,” he claimed.

The anticipated match will take place on February 1 at 7:45pm. According to Stakers.com, the latest match between these two teams ended in favour of the Wires with the score of 25-14. Besides, the Wolves have been holding their 10-game unbeaten streak.

Brad also confirms that he feels much-coveted in the Leeds Rhinos. After signing a 2-year contract he is ready to do his utmost for the team. Reportedly, the hooker came to Leeds as the replacement for retired Rob Burrow, well-known for making a great impact on the team’s success coming off the bench.
