Wire legends to hold charity Q&A event at Eagle Sports Club

WARRINGTON heroes from the recent past and present will hold a special Q&A event in aid of The Steve Prescott Foundation on Tuesday February 6.

Lee Briers and Paul Sculthorpe will join current players Mike Cooper and Ben Westwood, as well as Shaun Briscoe from the club’s community foundation on the panel for a night of banter, fun and predictions for the 2018 season.

Former Super League referee Karl Kirkpatrick will be in charge of proceedings.

The event will take place at Eagle Sports and Social Club.

All proceeds from the night go to the SPF as they celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the formation of the charity.

The SPF is very proud of the legacy left by Steve Prescott MBE and the inspiration he gives to people to support his chosen charities.

The donations to the SPF go to support The Christie in Manchester, the Rugby League Benevolent Fund and the SPF Special Causes Fund. The SPF fund allows those hospitals, researchers and surgeons who deal in Pseudomyxoma related conditions and multi visceral transplantation to apply for grants to the Trustees of the SPF who will ensure sure that the
money will have a direct and significant effect on people’s lives.

Tickets priced £12 include a hotpot supper. Tickets can be purchased behind the bar at Eagle Sports Club or by emailing info@steveprescotfoundation.co.uk

Guests are to be seated by 7.15pm for the event to start at 7.30pm.
