WARRINGTON’S Victoria Park is set to host a new Neighbourhood Weekender outdoor music festival on Bank Holiday Weekend May 26-27, 2018.

Organised by Warrington born Simon Moran’s SJM, who recently gained a license to stage the event, Neighbourhood Weekender will feature a weekend of live music featuring some of the biggest bands and hottest new artists.

There will be 25,000 tickets on sale for each day and around 50 bands will appear at the festival.

Victoria Park has played host to high profile events including the very first V Festival in August 1996 and Radiohead in 2000. With excellent travel links, Victoria Park is easily accessible from all major towns and cities across the North West.

Neighbourhood Festival is a new concept created by SJM and first appeared in Manchester in October last year when 100 bands performed at 11 venues in one day.

Promoters Luke Temple and Jack Dowling of SJM Concerts said: “ Neighbourhood weekender is already shaping up to have a great line up. Victoria Park is the perfect space to host our new festival. We can’t wait to come back for what is going to be an amazing weekend of live music across three stages along with a hub of local food and drinks on offer.”

To register for exclusive line up news, music fans should go to www.nbhdweekender.com. Ticket details and line up will be unveiled very soon.
