NEW signing Ben Pomeroy is in the Warrington Wolves squad for Friday’s crucial match against Leigh Centurions.

The Wolves must win at least two of their remaining three games to finish in the top eight and hope that results elsewhere go their way.

Pomeroy, a former Catalans Dragons centre, arrived at the Halliwell Jones Stadium last month following the end of the French domestic season.

He is in contention to make his debut, alongside another new arrival, Peta Hiku, who made his bow in the primrose and blue in the defeat at Wakefield last weekend.

Tony Smith is also able to welcome back Tom Lineham, Declan Patton and Ben Westwood back from injury.

Leigh came out on top the last time the two sides met.

Warrington 19-man squad: Atkins, Clark, Cooper, Dwyer, Gidley, Hiku, Hill, Hughes, Julien, G King, Lineham, Patton, Philbin, Pomeroy, Ratchford, Savelio, Sims, Smith, Westwood.
