Solicitors join forces to raise money for Alzheimer’s

A GROUP of solicitors in Frodsham are joining forces to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Linda Hunter of Rowlinsons Solicitors, Ruth Hetherington of FDR Law and Helen Oakes of Butcher and Barlow will be taking part in this year’s Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day on June 15.
The trio, who have been working together in a unique partnership promoting collaborative law and the benefits for separating families, have decided to pledge their joint support to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Linda Hunter of Rowlinsons said: “We have been working together to develop and promote collaborative law in Cheshire, offering separating families a non-confrontational way of reaching resolutions. We wanted to support the Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day, and felt it would be a good way for us all to work together to promote this fantastic charity.”
Ruth Hetherington, of FDR Law added: “We were thrilled last year to each train to become Dementia Friends, and have pledged to continue to support the Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in this year’s Cupcake Day.”
Last year, Cupcake Day raised a fantastic £330,000, and this year the society want to raise even more.
Helen Oakes, of Butcher and Barlow Solicitors said: “We wanted to work together to raise some much needed funds and show our support for this fantastic charity, as well as have some fun eating cupcakes! This is a cause close to my heart, and I am delighted to be able to offer my support to help improve the lives of those with dementia”.
People can pledge their support by dropping in at one of the three solicitors offices in Frodsham on or before June 15 and making a donation.
Rowlinsons Solicitors are at 9 Church Street, FDR Law are at 20 High Street, and Butcher and Barlow are at 6 Church Street.
