Blaze in basement kitchen at Helsby

TWO fire engines were called to a kitchen fire at Helsby last night.
The fire was in the basement kitchen of a house in Robin Hood Lane shortly before 10pm. Fire engines from Frodsham and Powey Lane were sent to the scene.
The fire was out by the time they reached the scene but crews used a thermal imaging cameras to check surrounding areas, behind paneling, for any signs of the fire having spread.
There were no reports of any injuries.
