More misery for motorists following M6 multi vehicle collision

UPDATED: MOTORISTS face more rush hour misery in Warrington following a multi-vehicle collision on the M6 at Warrington this morning.

The collision involving a lorry and three cars resulted in three of four lanes being closed at around 7am this morning. All lanes are now re-opened.

The multi-vehicle collision took place on the northbound carriageway way near junction 20 of the M6 near the Thelwall viaduct.

Three of four lanes were closed while emergency services attend at the scene near the M56 Junction 9 eastbound access. Delays stretched back to junction 19.

Normal traffic conditions are predicted at around 10.15am.
