Warrington Town bow out of F.A Cup at first hurdle

WARRINGTON Town bowed out of the F.A Cup at the first hurdle for the second consecutive season as they went down 3-0 away at Workington Town.

There was to be no repeat of the FA Cup heroics of two years ago as the Yellows went out to fellow Evo-Stik Premier Division Workington.

Trailing 2-0 at the break following goals by Josh Calvert on 36 minutes and Jake Simpson on 43 minutes, Warrington went further behind in the second half in the 70th minute through Scott Allison, to bring the curtain down on their F.A Cup campaign.
