Warrington Wolves’ Wembley Squad v Hull FC

WARRINGTON Wolves boss Tony Smith has named his Wembley squad to take on Hull FC in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final this Saturday 27 August, 3pm.

Smith admits telling those who didn’t make the squad was one of his toughest jobs as a coach – but praised the way they took the news.

He admitted Hull were slight favourites but has been pleased with the way his squad have trained and prepared for the match.

In choosing his squad he believes a strong defence will play a crucial factor.

Joe Westerman has been named in the 19 despite suffering an ankle injury against Castleford.

The teams have met twice so far this season with the Black and Whites taking both wins (26-24) and (12-19).

Both teams are still on course for a treble!
