Evans on loan to Leigh

WARRINGTON Wolves’ forward Ben Evans has joined Championship side Leigh Centurions on a month’s loan with immediate effect.

Since making his Warrington first-team debut back in 2014 Evans, 23, has made 22 appearances.

In February he made a return from a long-term hamstring injury sustained back in March last year. He has represented the Wolves in the Reserve grade this season as well as partner club Rochdale Hornets but has yet to get a call-up to the first-team.

This loan spell at the Centurions will provide him with an opportunity to get some more regular game time under his belt.

All at Warrington Wolves wish him well during his spell away from the club.
