ARSON is the suspected cause of a fire involving a wheelie bin at Warrington last night.
The fire was in Radley Lane, Houghton Green shortly after 7.30pm and firefighters from Warrington used a water backpack to extinguish the flames.
Firefighte4rs said the suspected cause was deliberate ignition and appealed to anyone who knew anything about the incident to inform police on 101 or use the confidential Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
In an earlier incidfent, crews from Birchwood fire station deat with a kitchen fire at a property in Chaffinch Close.
The blaze, involving a grill pan, was out on arrival but firefighters used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property and an ambulance was called to attend to a woman suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
