Latchford spend free time on extra training

LATCHFORD Albion have a free weekend this week, and with last week’s game against Wigan St Patrick’s called off, the club are using the time to put in extra training to sharpen up their skills.
Head coach Lee Smith said: “Having three wins from three sets the tone for the season but we can improve in certain areas and the lads have committed to extra training to allow us to achieve the standard of performance that they are capable of and that will also allow us to reach our goals”.
Meanwhile legendary former Warrington Wolves front row forward and current president of Wales Rugby League Mike Nicholas as accepted the role of ambassador for the club.
Director of Rugby Mike Byron said: “Having Mike’s lads returning to the club this year has strengthened our squad and following conversations, Mike himself was keen to be part of the great journey we are on and
we are only too proud to have him on board”
