The sale involved 3,000 books on nine tables over two days at Birchwood shopping mall.
Over the past five years, book sales organised by Birchwood Lions have raised thousands of pounds for several charities and good causes.
Warrington Disability Partnership, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, set up a stall to promote their services.
Afterwards, Lions spokesman Ken Whibley said: “This surely must have been our best book sale ever!”
