Elspeth gets out-and-about on her new trike

A TWO-year-old Warrington girl born with a rare, progressive neuromuscular condition, is getting out-and-about on a special tricycle donated by Lymm Ladies Circle.
Elspeth Calvert was born with the condition which affects the nerves to her muscles and so requires help with mobility.
The bespoke trike helps her develop strength in her muscles – and also enables her to get out and enjoy the countryside with her family.
Lymm Ladies Circle raised the money for the trike by supporting Lymm Round Table at their beer festival and bonfire events serving pies, hot dogs, mulled wine and cider and home made treacle toffee.
The Ladies Circle is a group of local women who, as well as socialising and making friends, raise money to support local people and charities.
Anyone interested in joining them, or wishing to discuss funding opportunities, should contact them at the website www.lymmladiescircle.co.uk or email [email protected]
