Rick Astley comes home – after 28 years

RICK Astley, the local lad who became a pop icon and multi-million selling artist, is to play Warrington’s Parr Hall for the first time – 28-years after his showbiz career started.
Growing up in Newton-le-Willows, it might seem incredible he has not appeared locally before, but the sell-out show on April 5 should ensure he feels at home.
All those with an affinity for eighties legends will have the night of their lives as they experience the strong, soulful tone which sent classics such as “Never Gonna Give You Up” and “Together Forever” straight to the top of the charts.
Shortly after becoming a global superstar, Rick decided to leave the music business…only to return eight years later to rediscover his love for touring and live performances.
This year’s UK tour will be his first major headline tour in almost four years, and will support the release of a brand new album which will drop later this year.
Rick Astley definitely won’t be letting his audience down, as they dance the night away and sing along to one of the greatest voices of the eighties.
