WARRINGTON South MP David Mowat’s Jobs Club – founded in 2009 – has celebrated its 12th crop of graduates.
Already the club has helped 300 people in Warrington and the surrounding area find work or start their own business and the current season has been no different with people being given the skills, support and motivation to start their own business.
This year’s club has spawned a number of new businesses including: Inner Health Ltd and Lymm-based Creative Natural Photography.
Mr Mowat said: “I’m delighted that we’ve had another successful group of graduates from my Jobs Club and I wish everyone who participated well with their new ventures.
“Setting up your own business is a really daunting task. It takes a lot of time, a lot of dedication and, usually, a lot of money to make it successful.
“That’s why the club we run here is such a valuable resource, because participants each get paired with an experienced mentor who has been there, done that and is able to offer practical help, support and guidance during the most important phase for any business.”
