RUNCORN Shopping Centre is unveiling a very special Remembrance Garden in situ in Town Square.

It will involve a piece of Poppy Art on display that will change from white to red on the run up to Remembrance Day with the support and help of our local community  and shoppers.

To start their official Two Minute Silence on November 11 they will have a military Bag Piper, then at exactly midday the Remembrance Garden will host a very special Afternoon Tea Dance for 40 local elderly residents from around the local community. This will include a war time dance troupe dancing to music of the time.Bag-Piper

Following the Remembrance event the centre will be busy getting ready to launch Christmas 2015.
On Monday November 16 the shopping centre will be home to the biggest Christmas tree in Warrington, Widnes & Runcorn.
