Boat party raises £850 for orphanage

A CHARITY boat party on the Dee at Chester, organised by Frodsham councillor Clare Collins-Doyle, has so far raised £850 for an orphanage in Sri Lanka.
Clare volunteered at the orphanage in 1997 and hopes to be able to raise £2,000 for it.
Frodsham Town Council chairman Mark Warren and Cllr Mallie Poulter were among those who went on the cruise and a number of other councillors made donations.  Anyone who would like to help Clare raise more money can email her at [email protected]
