Monaghan set to be a Tiger

WARRINGTON Wolves’ former prolific try scoring winger Joel Monaghan has been signed by Castleford Tigers.

A much anticipated move to Salford failed to materialise and there was even talk of Monaghan returning to Warrington on a reduced deal to fall within the salary camp.

But now Monaghan, who many believed would join his brother Michael at Catalans Dragons, has been signed by Castleford Tigers.

During his time at Warrington, where he was club captain last season, Monaghan scored 145 tries in 145 appearances!

He has joined the Tigers on a two-year deal much to the delight of Coach Daryl Powell.
